The world of blaxploitation has lost one of its heroes. I am talking about the badass Dolemite. The legacy of the signified monkey will live on. For those of you who do not know who he was, well he was a maverick of 1970s black cinema. His real name was Rudy Ray Moore. Part Poet. Part Pimp. He was rapping before rap was cool. And he was, at times, quite fucking hilarious.
Here is something for you all to see.
